The unit is equipped with twice the number of nozzles mounted on the KM512 printhead, enabling the high density required to realize the 72mm print width. This increased width further enhances applicability to printing systems (e.g. Single-pass inkjet printers) that demand high productivity.

Piezo on-demand inkjet heads are driven by lower voltage than other inkjet heads for energy conservation. The KM1024 printhead realizes even more impressive energy conservation by incorporation of our newly-developed actuator.
The power consumption per nozzle on the KM1024 printhead is half that of the KM512 printhead, reflecting even greater consideration for the environment.

A maximum of 8 drop sizes can be selected for printing, making the KM1024 printhead suitable for new applications with image requirements such as rich gradation expression and high-definition.

Compared to the KM512 printhead, the KM1024 printhead features a slimmer width, making compact head mount design possible, resulting in a compact final print system design.
